Dominick Georgetti is a founding partner at Wylam & Georgetti. For almost thirty years, Dom has focused his practice on the defense of medical negligence matters throughout eastern and central Pennsylvania. He has successfully represented physicians, hospitals, healthcare networks, physician extenders and dentists in virtually all types of negligence and malpractice actions. A seasoned trial attorney, Dom has tried dozens of cases to verdict in eight different counties throughout Pennsylvania. He has also successfully represented healthcare providers at arbitrations and mediations throughout the state. Many of these cases involve claims for catastrophic damages. Dom has represented physicians at hearings before the Pennsylvania Board of Professional Conduct. A career defense attorney, Dom began his practice as a litigator for a large defense firm in Philadelphia. He subsequently returned to his hometown where he continued his litigation defense work as a partner in the Scranton office of a Philadelphia based defense firm. He is a member of the Lackawanna County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. Dom has been selected by his peers as a Super Lawyer. He has been an invited speaker at medical society meetings, risk management seminars, medical school seminars and continuing legal education seminars.
