James Listanski joined Wylam and Georgetti in January 2023 after working as a family law attorney in Philadelphia and as an adjunct professor at Lackawanna College in Scranton. James represented clients in family law matters such as child custody, grandparents’ rights, and termination of parental rights cases in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. James is a graduate of Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and a recipient of the National Order of the Barristers Award. During his law school career, James was an active member of Temple University’s Moot Court Competition team and was named Champion of the Samuel Polsky Moot Court Competition (2015) and the Temple University Appellate Advocacy Competition (2016). James also had the honor of representing Temple University as a member of the competition team for the National Moot Court Competition-Region 3 in Baltimore, MD. James previously served as a McCleary Law Fellow for the Human Rights Campaign in Washington, D.C., where he advocated for social justice and the passage of the Equality Act in Congress; and, as a legal intern for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
