Having worked several years with founding partners Paul and Dom, Mary Montoro joined Wylam & Georgetti from the firm’s inception. She has extensive medical malpractice and general liability defense experience. She has defended medical and dental professionals, nurses, hospitals, and long-term healthcare facilities in both Pennsylvania and New York. Mary’s cases include a wide variety of claims, including catastrophic birth injuries and wrongful death. She also represents medical professionals and healthcare staff pursuant to investigations conducted by the Department of State, Office of Medical Professional Conduct in Pennsylvania and New York resulting from complaints filed by patients. Mary also represents clients at the appellate level, including matters before the Pennsylvania Superior Court and Supreme Court of the State of New York Appellate Division Second Judicial Department. Mary is a member of the Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, and New York Bar Associations.
